Occasionally seen bounding lines: 1, 2, 1 vert., in brown ink. Text space 101 x 68 mm. 2 col., 44 lines, written in dark brown ink, set below top line, one hand. 17-18 cen. marginal additions. Foliation is occasional, modern, in grey pencil, in the right upper corner. Collation: impractical. Quire signatures: a, b, c etc. Decoration: MS has been illuminated at the atelier of Johannes Grusch. Full page initial I(n) with creation scenes on f. 3v. Numerous historiated initials. 2-3 line blue and red initials with alternatively red and blue penwork, red and blue running titles, chapter numbers, red rubrics. Red signe-de-renvoi, capitals touched by red. Binding: 153 x 115 mm. 17th-18th cen. brown leather with gilt in gold decorative and geometrical ornament over cardboards. Cloth ties. |
