One voice

An account of the career of a Reform rabbi and civil rights activist in Atlanta, Georgia, during the period of desegregation (1950s-60s). In October 1958 his synagogue was bombed during a wave of neo-Nazi bombings of synagogues and Jewish community centers in the South. Describes the antisemitism aroused by Jewish support for integration and the Jewish communities' fears, although no general wave of antisemitism resulted. Black antisemitism is mentioned as well.
