The Associazione Pro Israele was founded in 1916 by non-Jewish Italians in order to support the rights of Jews and the Zionist movement. Operated mainly in Milan, Rome and Florence until 1920. The founder and secretary of the Association was Elga Ohlsen his presidents were Pietro Bonfante, Giovanni Colonna Di Cesarò, Francesco Arcà. |
