Jesus de Galindez Suarez (Amurrio 1915 - Dominican Republic 1956), was a Basque nationalist, writer, and professor for international law at Columbia University. In 1939 he emigrated from Spain to the Dominican Republic, and in 1946 he moved to New York. In 1956 Galindez disappeared and was obviously murdered by the Dominican Trujillo regime. |
