(compiled from Henry's Prayer Book).--Title page. "The basis of this volume is the Prayer Book emanating from the Rev. H. A. Henry, which possessed the great recommendation of having English directions accompanying the several portions of the service. These instructions have been revised and amplified where necessary... With a view, also, of enhancing the utility of the present issue, a number of laws and regulations pertinent to the Prayers, Festive Periods, Fasts, &c. has been embodied at the end... These rules have been entirely re-written, and have engaged the undivided and solicitous care of the compiler."--Preface.
