Traces the history of Jewish families in the towns of the former administrative districts Bad Brückenau, Bad Kissingen, and Hammelburg, now united as Landkreis Bad Kissingen, including their fate in the Holocaust. In 1933, 934 Jews were living in the district. Pp. 353-403 contain lists of all the Jewish inhabitants between 1720-1943. Pp. 414-415 list the number of Jews deported from different parts of the district. Of the 483 Jews who were deported, only three survived.
