Mission to He-Halutz in Germany; "Mittleren Hachsharah"; the Hachsharah farm at Helgut; the transfer of youth to Palestine in 1938; second mission to Europe; work in England; the Hachsharah farm on the Balfour estate in Scotland; activities of various organizations for the rescue of children. Kibbutz member in Israel. Sent to Germany to organize pioneer training for children (mittleren hachshara). The last emissary who returned from Germany in 1938. Left behind 4000 youths. Rumours of deportations to Zbaszyn concentration camp of all the Jews whose parents emigrated from Poland to Germany. Returning to Europe with another emissary to raise funds and find places that would absorb these youths. Shortage of certificates and situation in Eretz-Israel forcing them to think of long-term solutions. Searching throughout Europe in Belgium, Holland, Denmark and England. Dutch Jewish community responding to these needs. A member of WIZO organization and uncle of Lord Balfour also assisting her to find some solutions in Edinburgh.
