The file contains: One German handwritten undated letter apparently from Rabbi Ph. Dr. Adolf Ascher Sidon (also Szidon) (1843-1918 ?) to Löw about the lifetime and written works of his father, Rabbi Simon Sidon (1815-1891), on the occasion of Simon's obituary. It seems that the text of the letter served as the basis for the entry published on Rabbi Simon Sidon in the Jewish Encyclopedia in 1906 (https://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/13639-sidon-simon). The file contains also a copy of the letter including some remarks of archivists.
