חתן: חיים אשכנזי בן המנוח יעקב אשכנזי כלה: חנה בת יהודה אשכנזי עדים: חיים שבתי בן יוסף הכהן, יהודה ויואנטי. הכתובה מעוטרת מאד. This valuable Corfu ketubbah is badly damaged, missing some section and severe colour deterioration. The top part is missing the shield with the heraldic device. Below, the once gilt labyrinth, symbol of the “knot of love” with no beginning and end. The lower sections has the four seasons in the four corner medallions. Intertwined in the flowers at the side borders are the zodiac signs. A double archway frames the text. However, there are no conditions at left, and the text continues at left. The parchment was apparently decorated in Venice, and later the text filled in in Corfu. This explains the missing cartouche (originally done for other families) and the fact that the main text is carried over to the second arch (as the scribe did not want to leave one arch blank). In Corfu the rite followed is of Romaniot communities, thus the counting to the Destruction era (1698) and some other variations in the text. Total dowry-tosefet: 666 Venetian gold coins and 32 lire.
