Published in conjunction with the exhibition held in Venice, at the Polish Pavilion, for the 54th Venice Biennale, 4 June-22 November 2011. "Jewish Renaissance Movement in Poland (JRMiP). Dear ... We are currently and proudly working on the exhibition ... and Europe will be stunned for the Polish Pavilion at the 54th International Art Exhibition in Venice: a film project by Israeli artist Yael Bartana, the first non-Polish national to represent Poland in the history of the Biennale. ... In order to construct the cookbook, we are asking you for a "recipe" for the movement. We want to pose the following questions: what are the needs of the movment? How can it evolve and become part of political reality? Where does it lead? What can we learn from its history to date?. ... We await your recipes, which can be in texts, drawings, instructions, manifestos, cooking recipes, maps, photographs, essays, diagrams or any other publishable form. The movement needs to grow.
