The file contains a notebook with remains of the original black cover. The notebook contains a number of short literary works and sketches: Sie schläft. Das Klettern - Snait. Most of the pages are filled with doodles and drawings in pencil and ink, 26 folios. In addition, there are two groups of clippings which have been cut from the notebook, four and six pieces of paper with black human figures in ink, and three sheets with handwritten copies of the written parts and notes in Max Brod's handwriting.
