- Commanders for Israel's Security (CIS) is a non-partisan movement comprising the overwhelming majority of available retired IDF generals and their Mossad, Shin Bet (Security Agency) and Police equivalents. CIS members are united in the conviction that a two-state agreement with the Palestinians, as part of a regional security framework, is essential for Israel's security as well as for its future as the democratic home of the Jewish People. "מפקדים למען ביטחון ישראל" היא תנועה ישראלית שהוקמה על ידי בכירים בדימוס מתוך מערכת הביטחון (צה"ל, שב"כ, "המוסד" ומשטרת ישראל), שנוסדה באוקטובר 2014, זמן קצר לאחר מבצע צוק איתן, ביוזמתו של אלוף (מיל') אמנון רשף. מטרת התנועה היא קידום יוזמה מדינית על בסיס תפיסה מדינית-ביטחונית אזורית, תוך מינוף היוזמה הסעודית. התנועה מציגה את עצמה כבלתי מפלגתית המקדמת יעד פוליטי. התנועה מתוארת בכתבות רבות כתנועת שמאל.
