אָמוֹן (במצרית עתיקה: jmn, בקופטית: Ⲁⲙⲟⲩⲛ, בפיניקית: 𐤀𐤌𐤍, אמן) היה אל במיתולוגיה המצרית. תחילה היה האל המקומי של העיר תבאי, היא נֹא אָמון על פי המקרא. עם עליית חשיבותה של תבאי והפיכתה לבירת מצרים עלתה גם חשיבותו של האל של העיר. במהלך השושלת ה-18 של שליטי מצרים התמזג עם אל השמש רע והפך לראש האלים אמון-רע. האל המצרי היחיד שמוזכר בתנ"ך, בספר ירמיהו. כאשר אחנתון ביצע את המהפכה האתניסטית והעלה את אתון למעמד ראש האלים, היה ניסיון לבטל לחלוטין את פולחנו של האל אמון-רע והייתה פגיעה במקדשיו ובכוהניו. אולם בחלוף תקופת שלטונו של אחנתון שב האל אמון-רע למעמדו ודחק שוב את אתון למעמד משני. אמון מופיע במגילת ון אמון ובמכתבי אל-עמארנה. בכתבים אלה מייחסים לו את הבעלות והשליטה על העולם. האל אמון מופיע בצורות שונות: איל, אדם שראשו ראש איל, לעיתים הוא עטור נוצות גבוהות שלפניהן גלגל חמה ולעיתים מופיע עם ראש נחש הקוברה. האל נחשב לאביהם של מלכי מצרים החל מהשושלת ה-18 ואילך. מקדשו העיקרי היה בכרנך ונקרא "מושבי שתי הארצות". האל היה חלק משלישיית אלים נערצת, אשר כללה גם את אשתו מות ובנם ח'ונסו.
