MyHeritage is a family-oriented social network service and genealogy website. It allows members to create their own family websites, share pictures and videos, organize family events, create family trees, and search for ancestors.[1][2] With over 63 million users, MyHeritage is one of the largest sites in the social networking and genealogy field.[3][4] In 2003, CEO Gilad Japhet and a team of genealogy enthusiasts founded MyHeritage in Japhet's living room in the small town of Bnei Atarot, just outside Tel Aviv, Israel.

MyHeritage היא חברת היי-טק ישראלית המפתחת פלטפורמה לגילוי, שימור ושיתוף היסטוריה משפחתית בטכנולוגיה של הצלבת מידע. לחברה משרדים באור יהודה ומשרדים נוספים בתל אביב, בקליפורניה וביוטה שבארצות הברית, בטורונטו שבקנדה ובקייב שבאוקראינה. בנובמבר 2016 השיקה MyHeritage בדיקת DNA ביתית הנמכרת ברחבי העולם. תוצאות הבדיקות הגנטיות מאפשרות למשתמשים לאתר קרובי משפחה ולקבל מידע מפורט על מקורותיהם האתניים והגאוגרפיים. בדיקת הDNA הזאת לא ניתנת למכירה בישראל בשל החשש לגילוי ממזרים. בפברואר 2021 נמכרה החברה לקרן "פרנסיסקו פרטנרס" תמורת כ-600 מיליון דולר. כיום יש ל-MyHeritage שלושה מיליארד פרופילים ו-41 מיליון אילנות יוחסין.
