אוניברסיטת וירג'יניה (באנגלית The University of Virginia) היא אוניברסיטה הממוקמת בעיר שרלוטסוויל שבמדינת וירג'יניה שבארצות הברית. האוניברסיטה נוסדה בשנת 1819 בידי תומאס ג'פרסון ומונה כיום כ-20,000 תלמידים. האוניברסיטה היא מוסד ציבורי להשכלה גבוהה השייך למדינת וירג'יניה ובה פקולטות ובתי ספר המלמדים מגוון רב של תחומים, כגון רפואה, מדעים, מנהל עסקים, הנדסה, משפטים ועוד. לאוניברסיטה מוניטין אקדמאי מכובד ובסקרים שונים היא מדורגת תכופות בין האוניברסיטאות הציבוריות הטובות בארצות הברית. בית הספר למנהל עסקים של האוניברסיטה, דורג ב-2011 על ידי האקונומיסט, במקום הרביעי בעולם בתוכנית ה-MBA שלו. מייסד האוניברסיטה, תומאס ג'פרסון, בנוסף להיותו הנשיא השלישי של ארצות הברית, היה גם אדריכל ותכנן רבים מבנייני המוסד ורחבותיו. פרי עמלו זה נחשב למלאכת מופת עד ימינו והאוניברסיטה מוכרת כאתר מורשת עולמית, האוניברסיטה היחידה ביבשת צפון אמריקה שזכתה להכרה זו.
