- Encyclopedia of Holocaust literature, 2002:pages 114-115 (Zivia Lubetkin, 1914-1978. Born in Beten (?), Poland. Member of the Zionist youth labor movement Dror and was an active participant in the underground resistance movement in the Warsaw ghetto. Her memoir contains a list of nearly 200 people who took part in the Warsaw ghetto uprising in 1943, escaping the ghetto through the sewers. After the war she and her husband moved to Israel where they were among the founders of the Ghetto Fighters' Kibbutz. Died in Israel.)
