In 1993, an article appeared in Tarnobrzeg's historical journal which mentioned an alleged murder which occurred in Tarnobrzeg, Poland in 1757, for which the Jews were blamed. Eleven Jews were executed, but the "victim" reappeared in Tarnobrzeg some years later. The article presented the ritual murder as a historical fact.
