An article adapted from the author's book "Arthur Godfrey: The Adventures of an American Broadcaster" (2000). Rejects the persistent accusation that the popular American radio and television broadcaster Arthur Godfrey (1903-1983) was an antisemite, citing his good personal relations with a number of Jews in the entertainment industry. In regard to Godfrey's association in the 1920s with a hotel near Miami that would not accept Jews, notes that when Godfrey acquired a stake in the hotel in the early 1950s this policy was changed.
