In the center of the postcard is a large sand coloured horseshoe, often recognized as a symbol of luck. Inside it are the national symbols of the United States arranged similarly to the "Great seal of the United States". A bold eagle holds a shield with the American flag. It is surrounded by olive leaves and a banner that reads "E Pluribus Unum". Behind it is a blue fan like shape with light blue dots. Around the horseshoe are two child like angels, who hold a string of red, white and blue flowers. The angels have blond curly hair and blue eyes and small wings behind their backs. The angel on the left is dressed in red fabric, while the one in the right in white and blue. At the top of the postcard appear the words לשנה טובה תכתבו A Happy New Year. [A. R]
