One is sitting on a chair, one is sitting cross-legged on a carpet, and two others are standing. They are richly and traditionally dressed with elegant outfits, they wear a lot of jewels and a headdress. According to the title, they are getting married. This scene maybe refers to the significant ceremony called 'Al-Kuttba'. In the Jewish communities of the High Atlas region of Morocco, parents were worrying about two things as soon as their children reached the age of five: to teach them the Torah (the text of the Five Books of Moses) and to choose for them a bride. The day before Shavuot (Jewish holiday which commemorates the anniversary of the day God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses and the Israelites at the Mount Sinai), they used to organize a kind of mini-wedding (Chuppah biz'ir'anpin).
