Born 02/20/1912, Breslau. Junior High school, national exam 1929, gardener. Interview: Born in Breslau, then moved to Neisse, 2 younger sisters, attended a Protestant School. Grandparents: her father's mother came from Hindenburg. Transferred to a catholic school. Notices Anti-Semitism. Was not a good student. Father was Zionist but integrated. After apprenticeship he went on Hachshara. Pharmacist, was fired in 1933. About her sister who lives in an old people's home in Wuppertal, but doesn't feel at home there. At the beginning she lived in a Kibbutz. 1929 she left with a craftsman's certificate. 1930 she arrived to Kibbutz Naan, lived there for 10 years, was left by her husband with a 2 year old daughter. Foundation of the Kibbutz. Work in the kitchen and in the children's house. Left Naan for Ben Schemen, after 4 years she began to work at a new children's home. Accident: ruined her back.
