Gentle;Category - Poems and verses;Description - On this vertical postcard appears a Yiddish poem in an ornamented frame with scenery drawn in the background. At the center of the postcard appears the poem printed in blue on a white background, under it appear the words לשנה טובה תכתבו A Happy New Year. Behind the poem is a desert scenery with mountains, a pyramid, a river, a palm tree and an Arab riding a camel. At the bottom appear the words F. GENTLE GROVER ENG Co. in very small print. The picture is surrounded by a frame decorated at the top by the American flag and the now Israeli white and blue flag surrounding the star of David in which the word ציון (Zion) is written. At the bottom of the frame stands a figure of a barefoot blond boy dressed in a blue garment, holding a lute in one hand and pointing up with the other. Clusters of grapes, a fig and a pomegranate hang from the bottom side of the frame. At the bottom left corner of the postcard appears the writing © Hebrew Publishing
