"This volume is a translation of Josef Tropper's 2002 grammar Altäthiopisch: Grammatik des Ge'ez mit Übungstexten und Glossar (Ugarit-Verlag). The translation closely follows the original text in both outline and content. Some changes have been made by the translator, however. These changes include the use of the Ethiopic script, but also certain chenges in the content.
