"This book... began with a compendium of halachot which I published for the members of my community in Jerusalem, mainly in the years 5764-5766 [2004-2006]... After much editing, I added them to my book Nitzanei retz (part 1) which was published in 5771 [2011]... In anticipation of the annual celebration of our kollel [Beit Mordechai Campus Kollel, Johannesburg], I added a compendium of halachot for the other holidays of the year. I also added the laws of Rosh Chodesh and Kiddush Levana, and the laws of yartzeit which are also tied to the cycle of the year."--Introduction. On back cover: Beit Mordechai Campus Kollel.
