Żydzi włocławscy i ich zagłada, 1939-1945

Traces the situation of the Jews in Włocławek in the interwar period (including antisemitism, see pp. 49-57), when there were 12,000 Jews, 2,000 Germans and 56,000 Poles in the town. Relates the history of the Jews during World War II. On 14 September Włocławek was occupied by the Nazis and became part of the Third Reich; persecutions of the Jews and pogroms began immediately. Transfer to the Generalgouvernement was initiated in December 1939. The ghetto was founded in October 1940. In September 1941 deportations began to the Łódź ghetto, and from there to the extermination camp in Chełmno. The ghetto was liquidated in April 1942. Very few Jews from Włocławek survived the war.
