Juden und Judenpogrom 1938 in Erlangen

A booklet based on an exhibition held in Erlangen, October 1988-May 1989, describing the history and customs of Jews in Germany. Pp. 41-47 trace the history of antisemitism in Germany. Pp. 69-84 describe the "Kristallnacht" pogrom in Erlangen and subsequent Nazi measures. Includes reminiscences of Erlangen Jews of their deportation to the Riga ghetto and from there to concentration camps, and a list of Jews who died in the Holocaust. Pp. 85-94 discuss postwar reactions to the Holocaust, including the "historians' debate", Holocaust denial, and comments written in the visitors' book of the exhibition.
