Work in He-Halutz after the conquest of Austria by the Nazis; cooperation with Youth Aliyah emissary in Vienna in the organization of the rescue of the children; the "Ausland Hachsharah" agricultural training farm in Moosbrun;activities at Woburn House in London; work of the Agricultural Committee in England; immigration to Palestine in December 1939. Interviewee staying at the time in Vienna becoming coordinator between pioneer bodies by assisting the selection of people and their preparation for the journey. This was done by way of creating agricultural pioneer training camps preparing for immigration, financed by Vienna's rich. This policy was well suited to Eichmann's who was in charge of the "cleansing" of Austria from its Jews. Cooperation between all pioneer bodies in Berlin, Vienna and London. Preference of people who received Zionist education or belonged to Zionist youth movements in the distribution of certificates, but the everyone could be accepted to the training centers. Management of those with no Zionist background was in the hands of the Eretz-Israel office and the Zionist Organization who were responsible for all the Jews while interviewee and his associates handled the youths attached to Hehalutz movement.
