Photographs are housed in a burlap-covered box the burlap has been decorated using crewelwork with symbols and borders on four sides and the lid the names "Bethlehem", "Bethanie", "Nazar[eth]", and "Jerusalem" each appear on one of the four sides a pamphlet entitled "Souvenirs Photographiques d'un Pélerinage du Pénitence en Terre-Sainte par M. l'abbé Fromet, curé d'Angé (Loir-et-Cher)" and a list of the mounted photographs accompanies the XBD photographs no title appears on the matte or the photograph handwritten "15" on the matte refers to the number in the pamphlet.
