Herzfeld, Ernst Salomon, Dr. jur., born 1871 Grätz/Poznan (Grodisk, Western Poland), died 1948 Buenos Aires during a visit; Legal expert, Jewish functionary. In 1902-1903 lawyer in Posen, 1903-1936 in Essen. From 1903, chair of the CV Regional Association Rhineland, 1936-1938 last president of the CV board, board member and vice president of the Jewish Community Essen. 1933-1938, co-founder and member of the Advisory Council of the Reich Representation. Herzfeld emigrated in 1939 to Palestine --
