About the Program

The Pardes program seeks to establish a deep connection between writers and the National Library of Israel (NLI), and facilitate the creation of new works by providing emerging talented authors with essential time and space for writing, guidance and inspiration.

Call for Applications

The National Library invites authors who have published a debut book to apply for the 6th cohort of Pardes.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates are writers who have published a debut book of prose over the past five years with a recognized Israeli publisher and have yet to publish a second book.

To register please submit the online application form and send 5 copies of your book to:

A weekly day of classes and workshops at the Library A weekly day of individual work, dedicated to writing and researching at the Library Participation in cultural literary events at the NLI Monthly stipend of NIS 4,000
