About the Islamic Manuscript Collection
Among the 2,416 manuscripts housed at the Library, one can find numerous rare and precious items. The gems in the collection include manuscripts that were copied during the lifetime of their authors or shortly after their deaths, such as writings by the important Islamic theologian Ibn Taymiyya.
