The Islam and Middle East Collection of the National Library of Israel is home to nearly 2,500 Arabic, Persian, and Turkish manuscripts. This is the largest manuscript collection of its type in Israel, and an important resource for the study of Islam and of the region. Warraq (meaning "papermaker" in Arabic) has set for itself the goal of enabling scholars, students, and educators to access this material. On the Warraq site you can search, read, download, and share every manuscript in the collection, from anywhere in the world and free of charge.
