Description
The collection contains personal documents of Jewish residents. There are birth certificates, personal metrical data and papers required to obtain Lithuanian passports. The materials include details such as names and parents’ names, place and date of birth, place of study, occupation, photos, etc. For example, two of the files include documents needed to issue passports for two students in the Telšiai Yeshiva (Giršas Braude and Leibas-Urelis Bekeris).
