Description
The file contains:;1) an autograph postcard in German, signed "F", sent to Dr. Felix Weltsch from Tatranske Matliare on 6.6.1921, concerning the Zionist weekly "Selbstwehr".;2) an autograph letter draft, written in Kirling on 5 Mai 1924, in the name of the local tuberculosis sanatorium, to his former employer, the "Arbeiter-Unfall-Versicherungs-Anstalt" in Prague, confirming Kafka's sojourn in the sanatorium. This draft has been sent by Robert Klopstock on 22.12.1924 on behalf of Max Brod. See the cover letter by Klopstock in file: Schwad 01 19 ???.;3) the manuscript of the story "Ein Traum", with Kafka's signature, three pages [lost].;4a) a photocopy of the manuscript for "Die Verwandlung", 87 pages [is part of the photocopied file only].;4b) photocopies of two autograph postcards to his sister Ottla [is part of the photocopied file only].;5) booklet filled with Hebrew-German vocabulary in Kafka's own hand, 18 pages, possibly 1922. In addition, there is a facsimile of the booklet.;6) a b&w passport photograph, 6.5x7.5 cm, on the frontside his complete signature "Dr. Franz Kafka" and remains of two official stamps of the "k.k. Polizei-Direktion in Prag"
