  • • עוּלוּ אוּשְׁפִּיזִין עִלָּאִין קַדִּישִׁין – היכנסו, אורחים עליונים וקדושים.
    • עוּלוּ אַבְהָן עִלָּאִין קַדִּישִׁין – היכנסו, אבות עליונים וקדושים.
    • לְמֵיתַב בְּצִלָּא דִמְהֵימְנוּתָא עִלָּאָה – לשבת בצל האמונה (כך מכונה הסוכה בספר הזוהר) העליונה.
    • בְּצִלָּא דְּקוּדְשָׁא בְּריך הוּא – בצלו של הקדוש ברוך הוא.
    • לֵיעוּל... וְעִמֵּה – ייכנס... ועמו... - בכל יום מזמינים אושפיז אחר, לפי הסדר, ועמו את האחרים.
    • תִּיבוּ – שבו. כך מסופר בזוהר חלק ג' קג ע"ב על רב המנונא סבא, כשהיה נכנס לסוכה, סידר שלחנו ובעמדו על רגליו ובירך ואמר: בַּסֻּכֹּת תֵּשְׁבוּ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים. שְׁבוּ אושפיזין עליונים, שבו. שבו אושפיזי האמונה, שבו...
    • אוּשְׁפִּיזִין דִמְהֵימְנוּתָא – אורחי האמונה.
    • זַכָּאָה חוּלָקַנָא – אשרי חלקנו.
    • וְזַכָּאָה חוּלָקְהוֹן דְּיִשְׂרָאֵל – ואשרי חלקם של ישראל.
    • זַכָּאָה חוּלְקֵיהוֹן דְיִשְׂרָאֵל, דִכְתִיב "כִּי חֵלֶק ה' עַמוֹ... – כך מסופר בזוהר (חלק ג' קג ע"ב) על רב המנונא סבא, כשקיבל את האושפיזין בסוכתו היה מרים ידיו בשמחה ואומר: "אשרי חלקנו, אשרי חלקם של ישראל, שכתוב (דברים לב, ט) כִּי חֵלֶק ה' עַמּוֹ יַעֲקֹב חֶבֶל נַחֲלָתוֹ".
