| רומנסה ספרדית. הרומנסה מופיעה בספר הרומנסות של יצחק לוי, "Chants judéo-espagnols". לחן השיר מושר בקרב קהילות ספרדיות רבות על הפיוט "צור משלו אכלנו". השיר בוצע בין היתר בתכנית הרדיו "שבת אחים". ; The song describes the blossoming of the rose in the month of May, when the birds celebrate the coming of spring. This is a typical love song about the helplessness of the young man who suffers from love. |
| "לאמי, אשר בילדותי הרדימה אותי בזרועותיה בשירים אלה ואשר ממנה ירשתי את אהבתי למוסיקה..." כך מקדיש יצחק לוי את האנתולוגיה שלו לרומנסרות ושירי עם ספרדיים. הקדשה זו מלמדת, יותר מכל, על הדרך בה עברו שירי הלאדינו מדור לדור, מאם לבנה. "פתחי לי את הדלת" - שר הטרובדור בספרד של המאה ה-11. "פתחי לי את הדלת" - שרה אם ספרדייה לבנה בירושלים של ראשית המאה ה-20. הזמנים חולפים, השנים נוקפות והרומנסרה הספרדית ממשיכה להתגלגל ולהתנגן. לאדינו היה הניב הספרדי בו דיברו יהודי ספרד. כאשר גורשו אלפי היהודים מחצי האי האיברי, בסוף המאה ה-15, הם נשאו עמם את שירי הלאדינו לכל הארצות בהן התיישבו, סביב אגן הים התיכון: צפון אפריקה, איטליה, יוגוסלביה, יוון, טורקיה. סוריה, ארץ ישראל - ומאה שנה לאחר מכן, אף הרחיקו לאנגליה, גרמניה. הולנד וצרפת. במשך השנים נוספו לשירים ספרדיים אלה אלמנטים יהודיים מובהקים והם תפסו מקום יותר ויותר חשוב בחיי התרבות של קהילה יהודית זו. נושאי השירים היו לקוחים מהווי חייהם של בני הקהילה. שירי ערש, שירים לטקסי חג ומועד, חתונות. בר מצווה וברית מילה. ובנוסף להם - שירים על גבורי התנ"ך ושירי ערגה לארץ ישראל. כיום הולך ופוחת הדור ששמר על גחלת שירי הלאדינו וכל אנתולוגיה. כל קובץ שירים, כל תקליט - הופך עדות מונצחת להווי ההולך ונעלם. |
