They are traditionally dressed and wear the fez (red felt hat in the shape of a truncated cone). They are sitting facing forward on the ground, and look ahead. On the left, the father with a long beard and one of the boys are holding lemons taken from a tray of lemons, which lays in front of them. The second boy, situated on the right, is holding a pestle used to grind seeds. There are baskets of seeds laying in front of him. Behind them, there is a pictorial background depicting an idyllic landscape.
