MADE IN USA R-33773;Production period - second half of the 20th century;Front Period - 1962;Category - Synagogues;Description - A vertical postcard depicting the B'nai Brith Jacob synagogue in Savannah, Georgia. The architectural style includes Romanesque elements. The congregation is an Orthodox congregation and was organized in 1861. Their first synagogue was erected in 1866 at the corner of State & Montegomery streets. In 1909 they built their second synagogue at the same site. The synagogue in the postcard is their third synagogue and was built in 1962. There is a round seal on the left corner of the postcard. [E.B.];Back Description - A divided back. On the upper right corner is a place for the stamp. On the left upper corner is a seal. The publisher's name appers vertically on the left side. His logo appears on the left down corner.
