The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is a public university in Ting Kok, New Territories, Hong Kong. The university was founded in 1994 as The Hong Kong Institute of Education. It is one of eight subsidised universities under the University Grants Committee of Hong Kong and the only one historically dedicated to teacher education, with an increasingly broadening academic scope across recent years.
