Wikipedia description:

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd (Finnish: Teknologian tutkimuskeskus VTT Oy) is the Finnish state-owned research and technology organisation (RTO) and the largest organisation conducting applied research in Finland. It is a non-profit limited liability company wholly owned by the Finnish state and operating under the mandate of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, as part of Finland's national innovation system. VTT provides research, development and innovation services to private- and public-sector customers in Finland and internationally, and also serves as Finland's national metrology institute. It is among the most active European research institutes participating in European Union research and innovation programmes and is Finland's largest single recipient of EU research and development funding; it has accounted for about 17 per cent of the funding Finland has received under the Horizon Europe programme. At the end of 2025 VTT employed about 2,350 people and reported a net turnover of €198 million.
