Alexander Gray Ryrie (born 20 August 1971) is a British historian of Christianity. He has specialized in the history of Protestantism in England and Scotland in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries but also works extensively on the history of Christianity across the modern period. He was Professor of Divinity at Gresham College from 2018 to 2022. He was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 2019.
