Mary Doreen Archer, Baroness Archer (née Weeden; born 22 December 1944), commonly known as Dame Mary Archer, is a British scientist specialising in solar energy conversion. She was married to novelist Jeffrey Archer until his death in 2026. Appointed DBE in 2012, she currently serves as chancellor of the University of Buckingham.
