- Info. from 665 converted, Feb. 9, 2012(The Homoeopathic Medical College of New York was organized in 1860. In 1887 its charter was revised to include a hospital, and it became known as the New York Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital. In 1908 the name was changed to the New York Homoeopathic Medical College and Flower Hospital. In 1938 the New York Homoeopathic Medical College and Flower Hospital and the Fifth Avenue Hospital merged to form the New York Medical College.
