Jean Edith Camilla Läckberg (Swedish pronunciation: [kaˈmɪ̂lːa ˈlɛ̂kːbærj]; born 30 August 1974), also known as Camilla Läckberg Eriksson, is a Swedish crime writer and screenwriter. She is especially known for her series of novels set in Fjällbacka and featuring husband-and-wife duo of writer Erica Falck and police detective Patrik Hedström. The first of these, Isprinsessan, was published in Sweden in 2003. As of April 2025 the latest (11th) in the series is Gökungen, published in Sweden in 2022 and translated into English as The Cuckoo in 2024. She published the children's novel Super-Charlie in 2011, which became the first of a series, and the first novel in a new series, The Golden Cage, in 2020. Her work has been published in over 60 countries and sold more than 29 million copies worldwide. There have been several film and television adaptations of Läckberg's novels, and she has also written for film and television, including the original story and screenplay for the Netflix series The Glass Dome (Glaskupan), released in April 2025.
