- Alfred Ernst Rosenberg; born 12 January 1893 in Reval, now Talinn; executed 16 October 1946; head of the Reich Ministry for the Occupied Eastern Territories and war criminal during the Nazi era. A Baltic German, Rosenberg was a theorist and an influential ideologue of the Nazi Party; first introduced to Adolf Hitler by Dietrich Eckart and held several important posts in the Nazi government.
