- אמן יהודי מודרני שרב יצירותיו עוסקות בנושאים דתיים - נוצריים ויהודים. נולד בליטא למשפחה חרדית, שהיגרה לארה"ב והתיישבה בבוסטון בהיותו בן חמש. בנושאיו היהודיים ניכרים שורשים עמוקים במורשת היהודית ובקבלה. עם זאת יצירתו חובקת גם נושאים אוניברסליים. הוא מעלה דמויות רוחניות ומלאות נשמה, לעיתים תמונות ראי שלנו, ונוגע דרכן בנשמת הצופה. רוב עבודותיו הדו-מימדיות עשויות בטכניקת צריבה(encaustic) ועבודות הפיסול והתבליט ביציקת ברונזה. ייסד את ביה"ס לאמנות של אוניברסיטת בוסטון וניהל אותו מאז 1955. https://www.lib.cet.ac.il/PAGES/item.asp?item=17314
