The collection includes UN documents from 1947 onward, including those pertaining to the establishment of Israel, from all organs of the UN (the General Assembly, Security Council, etc.). All speeches delivered by representatives and all resolutions passed by the UN are also part of the collection.
In its capacity as a depository library, the National Library receives all UN publications pertaining to Europe, of which Israel is a part by UN definition. The Library also receives publications on a wide variety of subjects: economics, statistics, human rights, international law, social issues, etc.

The Library houses the only collection in Israel of League of Nations (1920-1946) documents. This is an important collection, part of which was donated to the Library by the late Professor Nathan Feinberg of the Hebrew University's Faculty of Law.
The collection is fully catalogued. Items can be ordered online or at the General Reading Room desk.
The Depository Library of the European Union contains all EU publications from the late 1960s onwards. The collection includes EU directives and resolutions, all the agreements that led to the establishment and expansion of the organization, and many other publications, mainly in economics and sociology.
