Description The excavation of Building 900, located in the City of David, yielded about 1000 small glass fragments, mostly dating to the Late Hellenistic, Early and Late Roman–Byzantine periods, with several dating to the Umayyad period. Also found were 12 windowpane fragments, apparently dating to the Early Islamic period, permitting a reconstruction of their manufacturing process.
