The allegation of a Jewish conspiracy against Islam lies at its core i.e. the Arab-Israeli conflict is a religious war. Emphasizes that it is important to distinguish between the religion of Islam, to which antisemitism is alien, and Islamism, which is a form of totalitarianism, and which adopted antisemitism from Christians and Arab nationalists. Traces the ideology of Islamic antisemitism from the views of Sayyid Qutb to the Hamas movement. Adds that antisemitism today goes hand-in-hand with anti-Americanism.
