Description A survey of Jewish involvement in politics from 19th century Europe to 20th century USA. Jews traditionally supported left-wing parties as a bulwark against antisemitism. Since the 1960s, antisemitism in the guise of anti-Zionism has been emanating from the Left much more than from right-wing Christian groups. In the 1984 elections, more than 60% of US Jews voted for the Democratic Party despite Jesse Jackson and Black antisemitism. Calls on Jews to rethink and change their political agenda.
